Build the life
you actually
want—with
integrity.
GRHEDON is about intentional living: questioning the expectations, assumptions, and scripts we inherit about life, relationships, belonging, pleasure, and adulthood—and figuring out what actually fits.I use lived experience, curiosity, experiments, research, and reflection to explore what happens when we stop treating inherited expectations like unquestionable instructions.Choose your life.

You do not have to reject everything you inherited. You do have to notice what you are choosing.
GRHEDON follows the questions that show up when what you want, what you were taught, and what belonging seems to require are not quite the same thing.Sometimes that means reconsidering a relationship rule.Sometimes it means returning to a hobby you stopped doing.Sometimes it means trying something for no practical reason.Sometimes it means realizing that a life can look perfectly reasonable and still not fit the person living it.This is the work: noticing, questioning, trying, reconsidering, and choosing more deliberately.

CORN CHIPS
What happens when people change what you do without changing what you actually want?
Corn Chips began with rollerblading.I never consciously decided I did not want to skate anymore. But after skating became another way of being marked as different, I slowly stopped.Years later, returning to it made me question what I had actually given up—and what I had been trying to protect. The series explores belonging, normality, othering, self-restriction, and what I call Social Expense: the costs that can come with doing something that threatens your place in a social environment.

Some questions need more room than a Reel.On YouTube, I use longer stories, experiments, research, and video essays to follow an idea further than short-form allows.Watch GRHEDON on YouTube

What happens when a question becomes something you actually try?Personal experiments, social experiments, connection, participation, and attempts to find out what fits through experience rather than theory alone.
🧭 SIDE QUESTS & HOBBIES
What happens when curiosity is allowed to materially alter your life?Things I am learning, trying, returning to, getting bad at, getting better at, and sometimes doing simply because I want to.
🕯️ INTENTIONAL LIVING & PHILOSOPHY
What happens when you examine the assumptions underneath an ordinary life?Desire, pleasure, integrity, belonging, adulthood, social pressure, autonomy, and the difference between a life that happened to you and one you are actively choosing.
GOLDEN RULE HEDONISM
I do what I want, but not at the expense of other people.
ABOUT GR
I’m GR.GRHEDON exists because I am interested in the gap between the life we are handed and the life that actually fits.I am Black, queer, and neurodivergent (AuDHD), and those perspectives inevitably shape what I notice and the questions I ask.I am not documenting a life I have figured out.I am documenting the process of paying attention to what I want, questioning what I inherited, trying things, changing my mind, and building more deliberately from what I learn. The content documents the life. The content does not become the life.
